The bill (Reg. No. 1137) suggests empowering the court with authority to consider cases on administrative infringements provided by article 180 “Bringing of a minor into the state of intoxication” of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, if minors were brought into the state of intoxication by their parents or a by a person substituting them.
The author of the bill argued in favor of necessity to adopt the bill since, the existing Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements does not settle the issue.
Committee members upheld the bill adoption of which will allow increase the level of children protection from undue influence of adults and shall also be the guarantee of bringing parents of a minor or a by a person substituting them to responsibility.
